Abstract | Sculptor Oscar Ho Hing-kay, composer Law Wing-fai, playwright Raymond Kwok Wai, painter Wucius Wong, arts administrator Benny Chia and art critic Lau Kin-wai all at some stage won grants from the Asian Cultural Council (ACC), which in 1996 celebrates 10 years of giving grants in Hong Kong. Established by John D. Rockefeller III in 1963, and now an affiliate of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the ACC is a private, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting cultural exchange in the visual and performing arts between the United States and Asia. |
