| Abstract | While Hong Kong may not be the ideal stomping ground for an aspiring collector of rare Western comics, there are outlets and there are more and more Asian publications making it into the hallowed halls of cartoon fame. Along with such recognition comes a reflective price tag. However, the lack of a collectors market has meant that comics are generally disposed of rather than hoarded in Hong Kong and that adds value to the rarity of a publication. |
