| Abstract | The Hunan Bast Textile Producers' Association held a meeting to discuss the situation of gunny bag output. Those present reported that production of raw jute materials in 1995 was reduced, pushing up prices to 3.40-3.60 Yuan a kilo. The jute farmers could thus make a small profit, and the total jute planning area for 1996 was extended. |
