Abstract | This article is a book review on "Three Chinese Economies: China, Hong Kong and Taiwan: Challenges and Opportunities". The book deals with a wide variety of themes which are brought together by a remarkable methodological effort. Grouping together articles of a general nature about a hypothetical unification of the three Chinese economies, as well as more technical papers about the economies of Taiwan and Hong Kong, it attempts to analyse the growth potential of this region and examine its ability to maintain the high level which has characterised it in the last few decades. |
