| Abstract | Trusts have become a popular investment route for many wealthy individuals throughout Asia. Use of trusts has grown over the past decade as their reputation to protect assets spreads. According to Douglas Moore of Credit Suisse, the use of trusts in Hong Kong enjoyed a heightened profile two years ago when leading entrepreneur and business trendsetter Li Ka-shing transferred a portion of his flagship company, Cheung Kong Holdings, into a family trust. |
