| Abstract | A reporter from China Textile News who recently toured the state-run textile plants of Shanghai and Shijiazhuang discovered that the problem of redundant workers had become more troublesome. He found that nearly 24% of the workforce in most state-run textile plants was truly redundant, in that it had nothing to do. Even the fortunate plants had 10% of redundant staff. |
