| Abstract | A report from the Statistics Department of the China National Textile Council shows the total output value of the state-run textile enterprises in 1994 as (at 1990 prices) 3.7% up at 183.5 billion Yuan and sales 29% up at 193 billion Yuan. Profits rose to 1,887 million Yuan from a loss of 239.8 million Yuan in 1993, and profits tax paid rose by 38.3% to 9.8 billion Yuan. |
