| Abstract | The First International Trade Fair for Interior Furnishing and Contract Business took off in Hong Kong on 18 April 1995, attracting the interest of 7,167 professional designers and buyers from the neighbouring countries. This far exceeded the expectations of the organisers and confirmed the territory's role as design centre for the region. This new event was designed to assist architecture, construction and trading companies of this industry over the world to market their products to Asia's growing interior design and contract industry. |
