| Abstract | The 4th quarter in each year is usually the peak export period, but in 1995, clothing exports have sharply slided since October. Apart from the sluggish world markets, steep increases in textile raw material costs have furthermore hit the textile enterprises in China, while whole-sale prices in their foreign markets remain unchanged. |
