| Abstract | The rising economy of Asia and the growing number of buyers from Asia at the Paris Pret-a-Porter impelled the organisers of the bi-annual Apparel from France Exhibition in Hong Kong to transform it into a bigger show, the Hong Kong Paris Pret. This Pret-a-Porter Asian version premiered on 19-23 August 1995 with a Spring/Summer 1996 collection of ready-to-wear from Europe two weeks before the Paris Pret. |
