| Abstract | The Wong Chuk Hang Complex for the Elderly is sited close to the Aberdeen tunnel on the south side of Hong Kong Island. This complex, for the first time, combines the resources of The Hospital Authority with The Tung Wah Group to provide a development that meets the special needs of the elderly. The overall intention is that the complex should be cyclical allowing an elderly person after a serious illness to move from the intensive nursing to the rehabilitation centre and ultimately back into the community. |
