| Abstract | Twelve patients had implantation of AACUFIX Atrial J Leads and dual chamber pacing since 1992 and were regularly followed up in Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) of Hong Kong. Since announcement of the possibility of J Retention Wire fracture and protrusion through the polyurethane insulation in November 1994 by the manufacturer Medical Teletronic Pty. Ltd, all the related patients in QEH were traced and recruited in the hospital's screening program for exploration of the fracture. The findings are summarized in this article. |
