| Abstract | Six textile workers in the Shaoxing Silk Fabric Printing Plant in Zhejiang province quit their jobs without prior notification or completing the resignation procedure stipulated by the Labour Ordinance. The original employer thereupon filed suit with the local Department of Labour seeking arbitration, after repeatedly demanding the return of the errant workers. |
