Article TitleClothing too costly.
Is Part OfTextile Asia : the Asian textile & apparel monthly ; v.26, no.8, Aug 1995, p.128.
AbstractA recent survey by the Provincial Bureau of Statistics in Jiangsu province in China indicates that clothing production costs rose by 24.5% in 1994 and by a further 20% in 1995. Articles retailing at 100 Yuan thus came to be classified as "cheap", those sold at 500 Yuan being "medium class" and fashion-wear costing 1,000 Yuan and over being "high society" type.
