Abstract | To many, lumping mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan together under the label "greater China" makes perfect sense. After all, Hong Kong's economic interdependence with China is well-known. And Taiwan's huge investments in China suggest that the fortunes of the two run parallel. But Sam Lau, who covers greater China as a fund manager for INVESCO, a British fund management house, is skeptical. |
