| Abstract | On 15-21 September 1994, the China Cotton Society and the Xinjiang Cotton Society jointly organised a China, Uzbek, Turkmen and Tadzhik International Cotton Conference, with good results. Xinjiang is China's oldest and most rapidly developing cotton producing region. It produces the best equality cotton in China, with the highest yield. After repeated bumper harvests of cotton during 10 years, the output of cotton in 1994 reached No.1 position in the entire country. |
