| Abstract | At the end of 1994 the workers' union in Puqi county of Hubei province conducted a survey of opinions in 12 state-run textile enterprises and gathered questionnaires from 714 selected workers in these plants. The survey concentrated mainly on workers' attitude towards economic reform, working environment and future expectation. |
