| Abstract | The Hospital Authority has started using card as a storage medium for patients' medical records in 1994. The card is called patient card, which has gone through two generations. The card can serves as a portable medical record for the patient. Upon presentation of the card by the patients, the stored medical information can be easily displayed on the workstations. |
