| Abstract | The author speculated in the mid of June 1996 that Kwok Tak Seng of Sun Hung Kai Properties and Lee Shau-kee of Henderson Land - who founded Sun Hung Kai along with the late Fung King-hey - could want to encourage a buyout to keep the old name in their fold. Either way, a change of ownership could only be good for the group, which boasts an excellent but under-developed investment house franchise. |
