| Abstract | Since the adoption of the economic reform and open door policy 15 years ago, the textile industry has seen immense changes, from a purely self-sufficient and inward looking structure to a market-directed and export-oriented pillar of the national economy. The development strategy might be summed up by three key words - adjustment, reform, improvement. |
