| Abstract | Diminutive Xiao Mo was everyone's loveable kid sister at the Asian Games. At 15 and standing a bare five feet (1.32m), the skinny-looking Mo was a bundle of energy. She never was content to sit still and compared to the older gymnasts Mo wore a look of childish naivety, with more than a hint of mischievousness. But it proved so wrong to underestimate her. When she got on to the uneven bars or the vault, the childishness evaporated. Xiao Mo (Little Mo) was instantly transformed into a Mightly Mo as she tumbled, swerved and somersaulted her way to win gold medal after gold medal. |
