Abstract | David Wong, Managing Director of Singamas Container Holdings, confirm that Singamas Container Holdings - a subsidiary of Pacific International Lines - had all its fiscal fundamentals and assets in place, and that in a few years the company would be "sitting pretty." Wong says the Hong Kong-listed company has an expansion strategy that has been in place for the last few years. It focuses on three things: making dry and refrigerated freight containers; building shipping container terminals and depots; and, since January 1996, midstream operations - off-loading containers from feeder ships in Hong Kong's bustling port. |
