| Abstract | As early as April 26, 1989, the Student Union of The Chinese University of Hong Kong started to raise funds in support of the Mainland's long term democratic development. The Management Committee of the Foundation for China's Democratic Movement was set up by the Student Union. In face of the two years before 1997, concern has been raised as to whether the funds should be exhausted before the changeover. |
