| Abstract | London Stock Exchange officials, who went to Beijing on the coattails of British politician Michael Heseltine, have returned confident that China is ready to sign a memorandum of understanding paving the way for PRC companies to get a London listing for their shares as early as 1997. Chinese securities regulators say they will soon enter into similiar arrangements with their counterparts in Tokyo and Sydney. |
