| Abstract | Hong Kong investors who pump huge sums into China need to remain patient before seeing adequate returns, say brokers. They estimate it will be the turn of the century at least before profits begin to roll, and that - until then - China will only directly contribute 11 per cent to the market earnings of Hong Kong's 40most liquid stocks. Home-generated profits amount to 78 per cent. |
