| Abstract | Widely perceived by the public and media as pro-China, the Hong Kong Youth and Tertiary Student Association will be set up at the end of 1993. Mr. Ng Chun Lung, an organizer of the association and a student in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, says the group aims to encourage students to care about the development of China and to facilitate communication between local and mainland tertiary students. It will focus on social issues, especially on the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong, that are vital for Hong Kong's liberal society. |
