| Abstract | Up till 1994, there are eight centres providing accommodation to over 28,000 Vietnamese migrants. They are divided into three categories : detention centres which are closed camps, the Pillar Point Vietnamese Refugee Centre which is an open camp and the New Horizons Vietnamese Refugee Departure Centre where refugees with fixed date for resettlement in a third country will undergo resettlement processing and cultural orientation programmes. |
