| Abstract | It comes as no surprise to anyone in the region that commercial integration between Hong Kong and southern China is already well under way. Since 1988, part of southern China is being used as a hinterland production base for Hong Kong's industry, as well as a site for the massive relocation of Taiwanese industry to mainland China which has been taking place. This article provides an analysis on commercial integration in Greater China (PRC, Taiwan and Hong Kong) in which it leads us to the conclusion that the integration is mutually beneficial for the three parties. |
