AbstractChina's export advertising has a long way to go before becoming significant - and there have already been a number of false starts, the memories of which are painfully fresh. Now is the time for the multinational agencies to show China what they are capable of and, at the same time, take responsible steps to encourage the growth of the entire advertising industry.
