| Abstract | In November 1996, salvage crews will set out to recover a sunken ship, and an important piece of China's history. Near Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, she has been lying there, rusting away on the bottom of the Yangtze River for nearly 60 yeras. Sunk by Japanese bomer in 1938, she is not forgotten - as millions of Chinese who fell to Japanese aggression half a century ago are not forgotten. |
