| Abstract | The explosion of international business with China and Pan-Asian nations in the last 10 years has, in fact, changed the face of British law firms. It is a phenomon they have to come to terms with.Some are coping well but, it is said that if others do not change quickly they may lose out. The opening of China for trade and commerce may not be correctly described as the catalyst that brought about the change, but certainly the demolition of its trade,commerce and manufacturing frontiers by China has had a tremendous influence and certainly heightened the impetus and increased the speed of change within law firms here. |
