| Abstract | The establishment of the PT bank Negara Indonesia (persero) is unseparable from the emergence of the Republic of Indonesia. The first session of the Ministers Counsel of the Republic on September 19, 1945 made the decision for the founding of a state-owned bank which was to take up the function as a circulation bank. Today the bank maintains 304 operational units scattered all over the country, and 6 overseas office in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, New York, and Grand Cayman. |
