| Abstract | PT Bank Bumi Daya (Persero), also known as Bank Bumi Daya, was established on September 9, 1959 under the name of Bank Umum Negara. Its function and business activities are directed towards the improvement of public economy and support of national development with priority given to plantations, forestry, and mining sectors. In August 1985, Bank Bumi Daya set up its wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong under the name of Bumi Daya International Finance Ltd. ("BDIF").
