| Abstract | Whatever critics may decide, it is evident that Chinese advantgarde artists are moving on, into conceptualist areas and into the unknown of cyberart. You cannot expect an artist to produce work of a certain genre simply because he finds himself, putaticely at least, part of an art movement. Artists will always go their own way. This may signal the end of Political Pop Art and the beginning of another movement. In which case this piece may be seen less as an anatomy lesson and more as a post mortem. |
