| Abstract | Famous actors often like to try their luck as film directors. The most recent example is Robert Redford. Jiang Wen has been a very successful actor for almost a decade, and last years, his performance in Beijingren zai Nyu Yue (Natives of Peking in New York) fascinated Chinese TV audiences. His first film as a director, "In the Heat of the Sun", was made in 1994 and has just been released in Hong Kong and China. The author had an interview with him in Peking. |
