| Abstract | The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) economies look set to continue the solid growth seen in the latter part of 1994 into 1995. Inflation eased slightly in China as food prices grew less rapidly, but strong capital inflows continue to expand the money supply. A key challenge for China will be the reform of state-owned enterprises so that monetary policy is able to moderate, without halting, output growth and so rein in inflation. |
