| Abstract | The Banking Amendment Bill 1995 was published in the Gazette on 10 Feburary 1995. The Bill proposes to amend the Banking Ordinance to make the Monetary Authority the licensing authority for all types of authorised institutions. It also proposes to define more clearly the scope, objectives and powers of an Adviser or Manager appointed under the Banking Ordinance to take control of a problem authorised institution. |
