| Abstract | China has been the world's fastest-growing beer producer over the last 10 years. In 1993, the country brewed more than 12.25 million kilolitres. That is more than five times the 2.4 million kilolitres it produced in 1984, when it was the world's seventh largest beeer manufacturer.
