| Abstract | Most of us were trying to find out what was going on at Hopewell Holdings and its Cepa offspring on Tuesday, so we failed to notice the Kwok family sidling up until - thump, we were blindsided with a $4 billion cash call from Sun Hung Kai Properties. In a twinkling, 65 million SHK shares were gulped up by Morgan Stanley at $62.125 each, which was a four per cent discount to the then closing price. |
