AbstractThe Governor-appointed Working Group on Care for the Elderly had recommended that the admission criteria for care-and-attention homes be changed from aged 60 or above to 'normally 65 years of age or over.....Persons aged between 60 and 64 can apply if there is a "proven need" for care-and-attention care based on health and/or social grounds, in which "proven need" means "meeting the admission criteria on health and social needs".
