| Abstract | China's two B-share markets fell in 1995, by an estimated 16 per cent in Shanghai and by more than 25 per cent in Shenzhen, putting them more than 40 per cent off their peaks of late 1993. Meanwhile, H shares in Hong Kong, already weakened by poor earnings results, plunged with the rest of the local market in mid March. |
