| Abstract | Hong Kong Chinese people with genuine needs can apply for a PRC passport as Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Chen Jian said. He was responding to questions on how Preliminary Working Committee member and Window chairman Lo Tak Shing had acquired a Chinese passport. Lo has renounced his British nationality and passport and would not have been eligible for a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport until these are issued in 1997. |
