| Abstract | The Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) has conditionally committed to support six Level 1 sports to the 1998 Asian Games. Although the backgrounds of the six full-time assistant coaches in these sports appear surprisingly diverse, the goals they share have much in common. To each of these coaches - in badminton, rowing, squash, swimming, table tennis and windsurfing - developing new talent for national junior squads and achieving international success remain their common goals. Each brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the job of developing elite athletes in Hong Kong. |
