| Abstract | On 29 May 1995 a five-person delegation from the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) flew to Beijing to discuss the Institute's future working relationship with various national-level agencies and institutes. Discussions covered a number of technical areas, including athlete / coach exchanges, coach education, sports information, sports medicine and sports science. On 5 June, the delegation flew from Beijing to Wuhan in Hubei Province to visit the Wuhan Institute of Physical Education. The two institutes have enjoyed informal links since 1988. The purpose of the HKSI's visit was to further develop and formalise those links. |
