| Abstract | As part of the change of the PRC taxation system, Industrial and Commercial Consolidated Tax (applicable to foreign investment enterprises (FIE) and foreign enterprises), Product Tax, the former Value Added Tax and Business Tax (applicable to domestic enterprises) were repealed and have been replaced by a new turnover system comprising Value Added Tax (VAT), Business Tax (BT) and Consumption Tax (CT) which applies to both foreign and domestic units and individuals. |
