| Abstract | As Hong Kong Tatler celebrates its 18th birthday, we put the spotlight on Hong Kong's young generation. They jet around in first-class compartments, they march down to the finest clubs in the holidays, and some of their bank accounts could sink a battleship. Yet, just as money betokens power, power brings responsibility. The author examines the charmed lives of the local and expatriate debutantes, and find the territory's future to be in safe hands. |
