| Abstract | Contrasts Gallery's seventh exhibition, "The New Bronze Age," which featured the work of French contemporary furniture designer, Franck Evennou, was recently held in a 4,000-square-foot showflat in the middle of Hong Kong's Western district. The showflat introduced an exciting range of designs, inspired by both the spirit of the French Forties and the Chinese late Qing dynasty. However, the focus of the exhibition was on the 1940s Art Deco era complemented by Evennou's nouveaudeco pieces. |
