AbstractChina's state enterprises should forget their giddy investment expectations if they want to compete for foreign capital, Francis Leung, founder of Peregrine Investments, told Reuter. He said that the mainland had misread the "China fever" of the early 1990s and should forget the "myth" of listing in New York or Hongkong at unrealistic price/earnings ratios and learn to settle for multiples of around 10.
