| Abstract | De Beers Asia Pacific Ltd in Hong Kong has been appointed an honorary member of the Diamond Importers Association (DIA) in Hong Kong, an announcement made by DIA in May 1995 said. In announcing the appointment, chairman of DIA, Thomas Wang, said: "De Beers has, over the years, played a valuable and active role in the promotion and improvement of DIA and the diamond industry in Hong Kong. It is time to extend to them a token of our sincere appreciation." |
