| Abstract | Hong Kong's public hospitals have recently been subject to significantly organizational and management reform. Since December 1991 "a new era of public hospital services began" with the Hospital Authority, assuming management responsibility for the public hospital system. This article introduces the initial findings of a qualitative, case-study research project which investigated the process of implementing the recent organizational and cultural changes in the public hospitals in Hong Kong. |
